Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about General Extra Hour.

General Extra Hour is an hourly add-on applied to any package. Your contracted photographer remains on-site for each purchased hour, capturing additional events like exits, dances, or extended portraits. Images from extra hours are edited and included in your final gallery under the same delivery terms.

Reserve it as soon as your timeline is finalized, ideally 4-8 weeks before the wedding. Popular dates fill quickly, but we can often add hours within 1-2 weeks if the schedule allows. Any change updates the contract and confirmation details promptly.

Yes. The extra hour can be applied to elopement or engagement sessions when you want extended shooting time. Pricing remains hourly and may include travel or location fees. Check availability and timing with your coordinator so we can plan logistics and deliverables accordingly.

The General Extra Hour covers time extension for your booked photographer only. If you need a second shooter or assistant during those hours, please add a second-shooter option in advance. We offer second shooters for an additional fee to ensure broader coverage.

Pricing is a fixed hourly rate added to your existing package and included on your contract. We accept credit card, ACH, and bank transfer. A deposit may be required to secure the hour; final payment follows your contract's balance schedule before delivery or on the wedding day.

If your celebration extends beyond purchased hours, we'll continue coverage at the same hourly rate if the photographer is available. If not, we'll coordinate options, such as arranging a nearby associate. To avoid gaps, we recommend adding buffer hours when finalizing your timeline.
